For many parents, taking their children to school is a very important expense, both in terms of teaching materials (books, notebooks, pens, etc.), and in relation to the school uniform, which is obligatory in some schools.

Many families cannot afford such high expenses, however, the school uniform has positive implications for boys and girls.

A very positive aspect of wearing a uniform is that school uniforms help reduce negative comparisons between students of different economic backgrounds, which helps increase students self-esteem and provides them with a sense of community. 

Also, you do not have to think about what clothes you are going to wear every morning. There is only one option, the uniform.

Related to this, you also don’t have to worry about buying so many clothes. They are wearing the uniform 5 days a week, which is most of the time. 

Personally when I studied in Ireland it was really comfortable to just put the uniform on after the shower rather than start thinking about what to put on.

A big bad aspect of the uniforms is that clothes are also a way of expression, every person has their way of dressing and it transmits information about the person. That's why if every person wears the same clothes, we will lose a part of our identity.

Finally, I think that each school has their own rules but having a uniform has lots of advantages which you could benefit from.
